Soon, you will be traveling to Hektor. We are looking forward to meeting you. Here are some extra tips and tricks to make your stay more enjoyable.
We plan a tour with you after your first night sleep around Hektor, which will introduce you to the farm, the animals and some of the art.
LET US KNOW WHEN YOU CHECK IN AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE
Check-in is possible between 16.00 & 19.00. Please let us know 48 hours in advance when you will be here (we are an active farm and need some planning). Should you arrive at a different time, please let us know at least 72 hours in advance, so we can arrange for your arrival. Send us a WhatsApp or e-mail.
TRAVELING IN A CHANGING WORLD
We live on an island with limited rain and no groundwater. Water is an everyday challenge for conejeros (the inhabitants of Lanzarote).
Here is what we do:
we reuse all residual water to use in the farmlands
in our honesty shop, you’ll find bottled water (as tap water is not drinkable)
we work with cleaning products that keep nature happy
we make organic soaps and shampoo bars for you to enjoy
Here is what you can do:
use the waste bins for all paper and sanitary products (to keep our filtering system working)
use water in a clever way: turn off the water while brushing your teeth, soaping or washing your hair. Or use our favorite shower Spotify list for the ideal shower time
take a shower before using the pool
should you want to use your own shampoo or soap, please choose an organic product
VISIT THE ISLAND

Getting about is the easiest by renting a car. We recommend Autoreisen, which offers affordable cars and services.
WHAT TO PACK
Lanzarote is called the island of the eternal spring. But it’s an island in the North of Africa too, close to the deserts, so you might want to pack:
some layers, as the nights can be chilly
a wind stopper
a cap or hat to protect you from the sun
closed shoes if you plan on hiking or visiting or farmlands
don’t forget your piece of textile (50 x 50 cm)
