Take a short shower, you are visiting a dry island.
Don’t drink the tap water. If you need more bottled water, let us know.
Take a shower before using the pool.
Should you want to use your own shampoo or soap, please choose an organic product. Our soaps & shampoo are water recycling proof!
Frits, the house dog, likes it when you announce yourself and give him a hug. Walking in on him by surprise might scare him, which causes a protection reaction. Just give a good old shout if you walk around the back of the house, calling his name.
We are happy to introduce you to the donkeys and the sheep, just let us know when you want to join in on feeding or grooming them.
Please don’t feed the animals at any time. Although they might like what you’re holding, it is not always healthy for them (and sometimes even dangerous).
Use the waste bins for all paper and sanitary products (to keep our filtering system working). None of them belong in the toilet!
Sort waste in four fractions: paper & cardboard, glass, plastics & tins, all the rest
We also gather green waste (including coffee, but no onions or garlic please). There’s a bucket at the steps next to the picking garden. Keep all citrus peels separate in the boxes.
You can find all municipal containers here - next to that there’s a residual waste container about 100 meter to your right when leaving the house.
Pool hours are 10AM - 8PM (or sunset, whichever is the earliest).
Please shower before using the pool. Use the mat and towels to keep it clean.
Please us a beach towel on the sunbeds. No shoes on the sunbeds please.
The pool can be closed with bad weather or heavy winds.
You will stay for a longer time in your own suite, so keep it clean: keep things were they are and clean up behind you.
Please note that all damages and paint jobs that need to be done after your stay will be charged.
If you break a piece of a set, we will probably have to replace the set.
Creation of works (except for digital work) are not allowed in the suites.
Clean up the taller after you used it.
Clean up after your stay: we will clean your room, but not clean up your mess.
Feel free to roam the entire lands, but please keep a safe distance (at least 1 meter) from the stone walls at all time.
Only harvest in the picking garden: those are the herbs and vegetables on the same level of the house, on the left when you’re facing the house.
Please never harvest more than half of plant (e.g. with herbs). If you notice plants get too small or have just been cut, please don’t harvest.
You can find an honesty bar in your room and taller. It contains favorite and practical products. Please use the list provided to write down what you used. We will charge at the end of your stay.
When Yves is around you can also always ask for a specialty coffee. We buy our great coffee from a Belgian roaster in Fuerteventura. Coffees will be charged at the end of your stay.

We offer laundry services. Ask for a laundry bag to put everything in.
You can also get extra daily supplies (like toilet paper, waste bags, extra towels, …), check the taller or ask.

Quiet hours at the farm: 10PM - 7AM.
Pool hours: 10AM & 8PM, or sunset whichever is the earliest.
You can use the taller day & night, as long as you respect the quiet hours (no music, no loud talking, …)
Our favorite art supply store is Detalles: small but really helpful.
The closest village supermarket is in Teguise, perfect for all small shopping. In Arrecife, you’ll find the bigger supermarkets like Lidl (perfect for vegans!), Hiperdino, Mercadona and Aldi.
You might be surprised, but we have an IKEA, quite some DIY shops (like Rosa or FT Tias, which are good local stores) or you’ll find anything here shops like Multi Centro.
For sportswear, there is a Decathlon, Intersport in Arrecife too. In San Bartolomé there is also Más Deportes and El Cruce Surf Store. In Famara you’ll find plenty of surf stores too.
Don’t use the shower curtain rods as drying racks.
Don’t pull on the curtains. Use them nice and easy.
No smoking allowed, unless in designated areas (under the palm tree, ask for an ash tray).
No unannounced guests (day and night).
Fix things yourself. Damages because of attempts to fix will be charged.
Open food packages or rests inside, outside or in the taller.
Don’t keep the electric heaters switched on while sleeping.
Don’t use electronic equipment for other purposes than intended (e.g. no hair blower in bed)
