Silvestre, Dolly, Stella & Silvana are coming
An abandoned sheep in the streets of the capital. A donkey with hooves longer than 20 cm. An animal that was found in a ditch.
In April, we welcome two donkeys and two sheep - all of them saved (and some currently in the care of LanzÁnimal), which we want to give a happy ever after.
We have made a wish list of products, which will make them feel at home, loved and cared for. And you can help us, starting from as little as three euros.
By giving these animals a place at Hektor, we give organizations like LanzÁnimal the opportunity to welcome other animals - mostly in need of intensive care. Together, we are giving more animals more opportunities.

Our welcome list
We welcomed Silvana in April 2023: this cuddly pelibuey sheep was first brought back to great health at LanzAnimal. Her exceptional bond with us, made us decide to rehome her to Hektor.
You can support us by adopting Silvana and buying her her yearly food cost. In return, you receive one free night at Hektor (for you, or your friends) and an exclusive Silvana pin. Only one per year will be handed out.
We welcomed Felipe in September 2023: this fierce pato negro was born at LanzAnimal. Bert’s strong connection to ducks, made us decide to rehome them together to Hektor.
You can support us by adopting Felipe and buying him his yearly food & vet cost. In return, you receive a free night at Hektor (for you, or your friends) and an exclusive Felipe pin. Only one per year will be handed out.
We welcomed Silvestre in April 2023: this young male majerero donkey was first brought back to great health at LanzAnimal. His exceptional bond with him, made us decide to rehome him to Hektor.
You can support us by adopting Silvestre and buying him his yearly food cost. In return, you receive two free nights at Hektor (for you, or your friends) and an exclusive Silvestre pin. Only one per year will be handed out.
On rainy days, you want to keep the donkeys in. We’ve still got some “gates” to make at the stables.
We have quite a big herb patch already, but some extra medicinal plants wouldn’t hurt. And what if we’d grow our own alfalfa? With these seeds, we can take care and feed the animals ourselves!
The animals drink quite a lot of water, but we also have to get rid of some. And we don’t catch the water of the stable’s roof. Plenty of opportunities to improve our water system and keep the animals dry and neat!
We have been taking Silvestre up for hikes up the mountain. He’s a good climber, but can be a bit clumsy. This spray cures all cuts and bruises.
We just want to make sure the caretakers don’t trip over a cute donkey or sheep…
We have already planted some trees in the pens, but fall is the perfect season to add some more! And carob trees are the perfect ones to provide shade (and the donkeys love the fruits).
A bag of sand to keep the stables dry and clean - for those rainy days.
Did you know that donkeys need regular teeth treatments to keep them metabolism healthy?
We welcomed Stella in April 2023: this lively pelibuey sheep was first brought back to great health at LanzAnimal. Her exceptional sisterhood with Silvana, made us decide to rehome her to Hektor.
You can support us by adopting Stella and buying her her yearly food cost. In return, you receive one free night at Hektor (for you, or your friends) and an exclusive Stella pin. Only one per year will be handed out.
